Method:
- Wash and cut potatoes into halves and boil until they are soft.
- When cool, remove the skin of the potatoes and mash them. Keep them aside.
- In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, turmeric, urid dhal, channa dhal, green chillies, coriander leaves and curry leaves.
- Fry for a minute or two until the dhals turn red.
- Next, add potatoes and fry for one minute. Add salt and lemon juice and mix well.
- Serve with rice or dosa.
