Method
- Wash rice and moong dhal and pressure cook them. It has to be very gooey/mushy so for 1 cup of rice add 3 cups of water.
- Chop ginger into tiny pieces and keep it aside.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds, turmeric, pepper, cumin seeds cashews, curry leaves and ingu fry until it is light brown.
- Pour this mixture on the rice add salt and mix everything well.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
